After Chris Paul announced his retirement less than 24 hours before the live show, I rebuilt the creative approach and rundown overnight. The conversation centered on his career and legacy, with Chase Freedom integration and post-production aligned around that direction.
I built the episode around the shared language between Cole and Melo: basketball, competition and creative growth. The rundown balanced personal reflection with lighter segments, giving a wide-ranging conversation a clear structure.
I shaped the rundown around Kevin and Melo’s friendship, balancing spontaneous conversation with pacing and direction. The episode surpassed one million YouTube views in about a month.
